The Prescripts series from Classical Conversations is a pre-writing handwriting copywork course for children that refines cursive handwriting skills through copying–while integrating rich, history-based content.
Prescripts: Cursive Letters and Art Lessons Medieval to Modern World History integrates drawing lessons that cover elements of design and composition such as depth, point of view, light, and shadow, as well as different techniques such as grids and mapping. Students will copy sentences that are divided into four sets of six history notes each, which cover Charlemagne, the Magna Carta, and the Hundred Years War, among others. Pages can be reproduced in-family; reproducible consumable workbook. Grades: Early Elementary students. At one page per year, there are enough pages for a complete school year (4-5 pages/week). The history sentences in this book correspond to Foundations Cycle 2.
*Classical items are exclusively for Homeschool Global Classical program enrollees only.
