This book is intended to guide students into a journey of self-discovery and development in middle adolescence. It consists of four units which address the following key concerns in personal development: self-development, aspects of personal development, building and maintaining relationships, and career development. The discussions in each lesson aim to enhance student’s awareness and understanding of the various aspects and challenges of middle adolescence and enhance their personal development. Using a combined experiential and theoretical learning approach, each unit and lesson invite students to explore specific themes in their development through related case studies, discussion questions, personal reflections, group discussions, and other learning activities and performance tasks.
