• Voice students will learn the proper posture in singing, proper breathing exercises, and help improve their pitch and tone.
• Piano Beginners will learn how to read musical notes, identify musical terms, and practice proper posture, and correct hand positioning. and be able to develop a rhythm as they play the piano.

INSTRUCTOR

Teacher Barrely is a graduate of UST Conservatory of Music with the degree of Bachelor of Music in Music Education, with Voice as her emphasis and a minor in piano. And pursuing another bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance at the same university.

She started working as a music teacher in voice and piano beginners in several centers and institutions for 13 years where she was given an opportunity to share her skills and knowledge with interested students.

As a performer, she was affiliated with Klassikal Music Foundation where she got involved in several performances. She also performed in various opera productions produced by the Cultural Center of the Philippines, UST, Philippine Opera Company, and Lyric Opera Company.

AGE REQUIREMENT: 6 years old and above 

COURSE LEVEL: No prior knowledge is required to attend this class

CLASS REQUIREMENTS:

For voice students, they need:

• Lyrics or music sheet (Students must know how to read)
• Pencil
• Good space
• Laptop/tablet
• Nice speaker/ nice headphones
• Water

For piano students, they need:

• Piano or Electric Keyboard
• Music notebook
• Piano book(s) (Students must know how to read)
• Pencil
• Laptop/ tablet
• Good space
• Nice speaker/ nice headphones.

* They need to set it up in a proper laptop or tablet stand.

* Books & materials are assigned after a skill assessment

FREQUENCY: Once a week, 10 sessions

The class calendar will be sent as a separate email. Only one (1) make-up class will be provided for students who missed any sessions for the whole cycle.

Each session takes 45 minutes within the given schedule. Any changes to the start date of classes will be announced in advance. Once you are officially enrolled, a separate email will be sent, including the start of classes, calendar, schedules, and other important reminders. You will be added to the Class Viber Group wherein all important announcements and coordination happen, for easier communication.
