This class is designed to build foundational knowledge and skills in basic filmmaking. Students will learn about storytelling, camera use, and the importance of teamwork. They will have the opportunity to apply these fundamental skills in a real production environment, develop advanced editing techniques, and complete a group film project by the end of the class as their final output.

Instructor

Teacher Matthew Delda is the founder and Creative Director of Reline Films, where he uses his gift in filmmaking and has received multiple recognitions for the films his team has produced — from Best Film to Best Director awards. He has been a cinematographer for 6 years, and he is blessed to use filmmaking as his instrument to inspire his audience to explore the art of filmmaking.

Frequency: Twice a week, 90 mins. per session/10 sessions

Age Requirements: 12 to 17  years old

Class Details:

• The class will cover the basics of filmmaking and will require the learners to create their short film by the end of the 10 sessions. 

Schedule: Twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays)/10 sessions 

•  12-17 years old – 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM      

Course Level: No prior knowledge is required to attend this class. Highly recommended for Beginners. 

Each session takes 90 minutes within the given schedule. Any changes to the start date of classes will be announced in advance. Once you are officially enrolled, a separate email will be sent, including the start of classes, calendar, schedules, and other important reminders. You will be added to the Class Group Chat wherein all important announcements and coordination happen, for easier and faster communication.
