Description

This class is focused on the fundamental techniques of Arnis, which include striking, blocking, and their practical applications. It is open to students of all skill levels interested in learning the art of Arnis, also known as Kali or eskrima/escrima, the national martial art of the Philippines.

This class will help you improve your techniques and forms, enhance physical fitness, develop self-defense skills, nurture discipline and focus, foster character development, achieve progression, build mental resilience, and promote sportsmanship and respect.

Instructor

Coach Jasmin M. Imperial, also known as Lakan Guro Khid, is an exceptional and assertive instructor of Arnis. With a strong emphasis on safety, physical fitness, character development, and a mentoring approach, she creates a positive and supportive atmosphere that inspires and empowers her students to achieve their goals on their Arnis journey. Her wealth of experience and passion for teaching make her a highly effective and influential mentor, helping her students to grow and succeed in the world of Arnis.

Class Type: Face-to-face, group class

Location: 2/F, Building B5, Bonifacio High Street, BGC, Taguig City

Landmark: The B5 building is between Fully Booked and Bench. The B5 entrance is behind Figaro.

Frequency: Once a week, (Friday), 10 sessions

Schedules: 

• Beginner : 4:00PM – 5:00PM
• KADI : 2:30PM – 3:30PM

Course Level:

• No prior knowledge is required to attend this class. 
• For KADI, Beginners is a prerequisite.

Class Details:

• Please wear a comfortable white shirt and dark-colored jogging pants. There is no need for socks and footwear during class
  • An arnis uniform is optional and can be purchased through the Coach
  • An arnis stick is required and can be purchased through the Coach

Each session takes 60 minutes within the given schedule. Any changes to the start date of classes will be announced in advance. Once you are officially enrolled, a separate email will be sent, including the start of classes, calendar, schedules, and other important reminders. For easier communication, you will be added to the Class Viber Group, wherein all important announcements and coordination happen.
