MUSIC (One-on-one Instruction or Group Class)

Individual Instruction vs Group Class

An individual lesson is designed to customize the lesson fit for the student. You can advance your playing skill through drills and exercises that will challenge your ability. The student should demonstrate the basic proficiency on the desired instrument and able to read musical notation. This is recommended for those getting advanced in their playing skills and with a recommendation from the teacher.

Group lesson is a great alternative or supplement to the individual music lesson. Gain confidence and develop skill in a fun, peer-supported environment. Play the same piece together or in different parts to create a wonderful music experience. The grouping will be determined according to the level of playing and age range. This is recommended for any level your child is in - beginner, intermediate, or advanced.
The recorder is an introductory instrument to the wind instrument family which can open opportunities in learning the flute, clarinet, saxophone, and other woodwind instruments.
The ukulele is a four-stringed instrument that is played by strumming and plucking the strings. Learn to play chord progressions accompanying your favourite songs. As your skill progress, learn how to read tabs and play solos with the instrument.

Still Life Illustrations

Within the 10 sessions, students will experience using various (dry) drawing medium: graphite pencils, ink, colored pencils and oil pastels.
A dynamic, hands-on exploration of paper and air dry clay. Students will learn to recycle paper to create paper maché sculptures to build hand control. While with air dry clay, students will experience basic hand building techniques and process in sculpting (pinching, coiling and scratch-slip). Students need no prior background in art-making to take this class.

Musical Theater for Kids
Musical Theater for Teens

A form of theatrical performance that combines songs, spoken dialogue, acting, and dance. The story and emotional content of a musical-humor, pathos, love, anger – are communicated through the words, music, movement and technical aspects of the entertainment as an integrated whole. Although musical theatre overlaps with other theatrical forms like opera and dance, it may be distinguished by the equal importance given to the music as compared with the dialogue, movement, and other elements.
